“ honestly, I love it. The food, the ambience... It seems silly to give the place top marks for atmosphere, but you have to remember I'm not here for fine dining. I am here because I had a craving for spicy chicken and fried cheese curds at one am. And it may not be the absolute best fried chicken I've ever had, or the best burger, but I know exactly what I'm getting. And they deliver. Cookout is Consistent, and it's inexpensive. There's always a line wrapped around the building, but they're quick so it's not really an issue. And really, when you want one, there's nothing else that will settle the craving for a cheddar style hamburger and hush puppies. The shakes are a whole different level. They belong, honestly, in a more expensive restaurant - if you haven't had one yet, just pick a flavor and go for it. My personal favorite is the chocolate malt, but no one ever seems to leave disappointed with their choice, just torn since there are so Many. ”
